This high-performance N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) is a premier polar aprotic solvent with exceptional thermal stability and strong solvency for polymers and inorganic materials. It is the dominant solvent for lithium-ion battery electrode slurries, electronics manufacturing, and specialty chemical synthesis.

Scope of Application
High-Performance Industrial Solvent: A premier polar aprotic solvent extensively used in the production of engineering plastics, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and electronics. It is a key solvent for polyimide, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and aramid (e.g., Nomex®) fibers.
Electronics & Lithium-ion Batteries: Serves as the dominant solvent for positive electrode slurries in lithium-ion battery manufacturing. Also used in photoresist strippers, wafer cleaning, and flat panel display (FPD) production.
Chemical Processing & Petrochemicals: An effective extraction solvent for the purification of acetylene, butadiene, and aromatics. Used as a reaction medium in polymerization, peptide synthesis, and specialty chemical production.

    Incompatibilities

    Handling Precautions
