Product Features
Isobutyl acetate is manufactured using continuous esterification and rectification processes, ensuring high purity and consistent quality across all batches. The product exhibits strong solvency for a wide range of polymers, including nitrocellulose, acrylics, alkyd resins, and vinyl resins. Its balanced evaporation rate (slower than ethyl acetate but faster than n-butyl acetate) provides excellent flow and leveling properties in coating applications while maintaining acceptable drying times. The branched molecular structure of isobutyl acetate offers slightly different solvency characteristics compared to its straight-chain counterpart, which can be advantageous in specific formulations. The low water miscibility enhances humidity resistance during application. The product is strictly tested using GC analysis to ensure it meets the highest industrial standards. Its pleasant, fruity odor makes it preferable in applications where worker exposure and end-user experience are considerations.
